Chevra Kaddisha

This synagogue committee is responsible for ensuring proper kovod acharon for members and their families.  In addition to working with the local funeral professionals to conduct funerals and burials, the Chevra provides physical and emotional support for the mourning observances which follow the burial.  The synagogue has a dedicated burial section at Pardes Sholom Cemetery on Dufferin Street, north of Teston Road.  The Chevra Kaddisha is responsible for future planning, grave allocation,  and ensuring that synagogue practices are followed in all matters relating to its portion of the cemetery.
