Our Community
Welcome to the B'nai Torah community.
Many members of Congregation B'nai Torah seek out active roles in the governance of our Congregation, many of whom also take active roles in the Jewish community of Toronto, Israel and abroad. Together we work diligently to balance the needs of the community and the needs of our individual members.
The scope and diversity of expertise that our members bring is astounding. Members volunteer their time, energy and talents to meet the many needs of our community and help it thrive and grow. Without volunteers like these, we could not function. B'nai Torah Volunteer work takes many forms—serving on committees, organising services and programmes, leading us in worship, opening homes for visitors to our Shul events and contributing to the range of activities that bring us together in celebration.
Our Shul is located in Toronto just off Bathurst Street, south of Steeles. It is right in the middle of Toronto's vibrant and growing Jewish Community. The map below showcases the large number of amenities located in and near the area. Zoom in to get a better idea of what is available, particularly in the crowded portions of the map.
